Overview

Allyson is a versatile and accomplished litigator with a track record of achieving great success for clients when the odds are against them. In her early years of practice, Allyson spent countless hours in the courtroom representing juvenile offenders in the criminal justice system. She worked tirelessly to protect the rights of these young people, most of whom had little support and even fewer resources, and ensured they were given an opportunity for a second chance.

In the decades since, she has continued to fight for her clients in any arena, whether criminal, administrative, or other areas of litigation.

In addition to Allyson’s considerable courtroom and administrative experience, she has drafted and argued countless suppression and discovery motions, negotiated favorable dispositions for her clients, and obtained numerous dismissals of criminal charges. She is highly regarded by clients, members of the judiciary, and other attorneys for her thoughtful and dependable counsel with an eye for unique problem-solving and effective legal writing that allows her to develop persuasive arguments and obtain tangible results for her clients.

Allyson’s practice is currently focused on the representation of those charged with drug and alcohol offenses. She is a certified Standardized Field Sobriety practitioner and serves as the Louisiana State delegate for the nation’s premier group for attorneys who specialize in operating under the influence cases, the National College for DUI Defense.
