Overview

Since earning her J.D. from the Southern University Law Center in 2024 and obtaining NHTSA certification in DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Lauren A. Cramer has devoted her practice to helping individuals navigate drug- and alcohol-related criminal charges.

While earning her law degree, Lauren was a member of the law center’s Women in Law Organization and the Southern University Athletics Club. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Studies from UL Lafayette and an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from LSU-E. Cramer is a past member of the National Council on Family Relations. While at UL, she worked as a student teacher at the Picard Center for Child Development & Lifelong Learning.

A native of Roberts Cove, La., Lauren has membership in the following organizations: American Inn of Court of Acadiana, Louisiana State Bar Association, Lafayette Parish Bar Association, Teche Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, and the Public Defender Association of Louisiana. She is also the 2026 Vice President of the Acadia Parish Bar Association.
